About This Place

Located in the heart of Wilmington, North Carolina, Two Guys Grille is a standout spot for lovers of hearty American cuisine with a delightful coastal twist. This cozy, welcoming restaurant brings a fresh vibe to Market Street with its menu that masterfully balances classic comfort foods and inventive seafood dishes, all served up in generous portions that leave you fully satisfied.

At the core of Two Guys Grille’s appeal is their expertly crafted selection of burgers. The Tarheel Burger and the Old-Fashioned Burgers offer juicy, perfectly seasoned patties nestled in toasted buns, each bite delivering that irresistible blend of savory and fresh. For those looking to venture beyond the traditional, the Blue Burger — as praised fervently by locals — stands out with its bold, tangy flavors that dance brilliantly on the palate.

The kitchen’s seafood offerings are equally enticing, particularly the Blackened Mahi Sandwich and the Firecracker Shrimp Tacos. The mahi is expertly blackened to lock in a smoky, spicy crust while remaining tender and flaky inside, served alongside crisp veggies and the house-made Two Guys aioli which adds a luscious creaminess. The shrimp tacos burst with zesty, vibrant notes that perfectly complement the soft, warm tortillas. Not to be missed is the FROM-THE-SEA Crab Cake Sandwich, packed with generous portions of homemade lump crab meat; each bite is a savory celebration of the coast’s freshest flavors.

Vegetarian diners will appreciate menu options such as the Black Bean Philly and the Impossible Philly, proving that Two Guys Grille thoughtfully caters to diverse palates without compromising on taste or texture.

Beyond entrées, their sides elevate every meal. The Sweet Potato Fries with Cinnamon Butter are a must-try, their natural sweetness complemented by a warm, buttery glaze that makes them utterly addictive. The Loaded Fries, crowned with chili, melted cheese, and crispy bacon, offer a savory indulgence that’s perfect for sharing or savoring solo. For a lighter touch, the Garlic Parmesan Broccoli provides a fresh, flavorful side to balance the richness of the mains.

The drink selection further enhances the dining experience, with local favorites like the Tropical Lightning IPA, crisp ciders, and refreshing mimosas that complement the flavors on the plate with perfectly matched refreshment.

Two Guys Grille exudes a laid-back, friendly atmosphere that feels both familiar and vibrant. Inside, the cozy dining area, complete with a lively bar, invites casual conversation and a peek into the bustling kitchen where passionate chefs craft each dish with care. When weather allows, the dog-friendly outdoor seating offers a charming way to enjoy your meal under the Carolina sun, a detail visitors and locals alike appreciate.

As reflected in glowing reviews, customers repeatedly commend the consistency of the kitchen and the welcoming nature of the staff. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick takeout dinner or settling in for a relaxed meal with friends and family, Two Guys Grille has carved a niche as a dependable, delicious destination in Wilmington’s vibrant dining scene. From the first savory bite to the last lick of cinnamon-sweet fries, this restaurant offers a dining experience that feels like coming home—comforting, flavorful, and satisfying every single time.

I recently moved to this side of town and found this GEM! I am not even a huge burger fan, but I am obsessed with their blue burger. So delicious and perfectly made every time! I also LOVE their sweet potato fries with the cinnamon butter! The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the food has been great every time. This has been my go-to takeout place for lazy nights!

Great local place with one of the most consistent kitchens in Wilmington. Traditional American food done well. Make sure you try their steak and cheese. (Chef’s kiss) so good. Oh and dog friendly outdoor seating is a nice treat.

Much smaller inside than I thought. However they have a good amount of tables outside for when the weather is nicer. We sat at a high table across from the bar. One would think it would be noisy but not really. Kinda has a diner feel being an ear shot of the kitchen hearing all the orders coming through and the bartender talking it up with those sitting at the bar. Decent amount of older folks came in while we were there. But there were at least two families also, so a good mix of customers. The Philly cheese was nice and cheesy; a decent portion that should satisfy most everyone. The southwest cobb salad was a nice size and the chicken wasn’t overcooked. Win! I also ordered a crab cake to go with my salad. The combination of salad and cake was a lot. I started to question my decision for adding the crab cake. Sorry for the photos, we were pretty hungry and attacked our food before I realized we wanted a few quick pics. In the end, a party of two left fat and happy.

A variety of Burgers loaded fries very good. Large portions of flounder although it was a bit overcooked. Service is excellent.

The restaurant was full when we arrived, but a waitress came up and said the wait would only be 15 to 20 minutes. They got us in quick and the food came out quick as well. My husband could not stop raving about the chicken philly bowl. I had the Fried Pickle black bean burger and my son had the blackened mahi tacos. Everything was delicious and portions were great. Great options for vegetarians!

Went to Two Guys Grille last night with my hubby. I was craving a juicy burger and some sweet potato fries. We had a short wait, but as we waited, the manager and another staff member both checked on us and offered us drinks while we waited. We had decided on our orders by the time we were seated...I got the Bleuberry Bacon Cheeseburger. I will just say, this was one of the most DELICIOUS burgers I have ever had! Well, the half that I ate anyway. Once my husband tasted it, I could tell he wished he had one too, so I gave him half...lol. He is not a Bleu cheese guy, but he was obsessed! It was mouth-watering!! Run, don't walk! Two Guys Grille is a friendly, inviting place, and the chefs knock it out of the park!! We will be going back very soon!
